Idukki District Women’s Council (IDWC) is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of women and children, especially those who are poor, vulnerable, and in distress. Established in 1976 and registered in 1984, the Council has grown into a trusted social institution with a strong presence across Idukki district.
Functioning as a branch of the State Women’s Council, IDWC operates with the support and guidance of government authorities and the community. With the District Collector as Patron and structured leadership, the organization ensures transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery.
